Progress is being made. Many of the titles in the left column work. If its GRAY, we're still working on that feature. Our MESSAGE BOARD / BLOG and the Community Discussion section is where you can read comments and questions others have posted, and where you can post your own comments, questions, public announcements, event schedules and personal messages. Yes, even recipies and gardening tips.

     Currently I do all my own graphics, and write the articles too. But, I'm not a web designer as you might guess and I'm not a professional writer either! I'm still learning the tricks of the trade. And that's a trick in itself.

  The Local Things section (bottom left blue panel) is designed primarily for our local folks and their various clubs, groups and organizations here in the Mojave Desert 40 miles north of Palm Springs. It's a  good place to interact with each other without spending so much time and fuel driving around our near hundred square mile area.

     I appreciate your patience while we get this exciting web site up and running to your satisfaction. Of course, I am very interested in your suggestions, comments (good or bad) to the end that I can improve the site as we move forward.

     This "HOME PAGE" will change considerably in the coming weeks as I learn how to add new material. Presently, there's not a lot to see except this page and several links shown at the left. The Message Board & The Local Things is alive and well.  Please check back from time to time for updates.

     The titles or links on the left are (will be) "clickable" links to various features. If the title is GRAY, is doesn't work yet. The Community Discussions BLOG feature works quite well. If other features don't "click", it means I have not yet posted the material and need a little more time to learn how to do all that. You know.... "trial & error."
